FAQ
What skills does this game help build?
Phonics, sight word recognition, reading fluency, comprehension, attention, and confidence with reading.
How does this game help learn those skills?
It uses a multisensory and gamified approach that combines seeing the word, saying it aloud, and physically popping the fidget mat to participate in learning while they play. This helps kids store high-frequency words in long-term memory so they’re not relying on guessing or rote memorization alone. We also teach decoding by showing learners which parts of a word can be sounded out and which parts must be learned by heart, and we explicitly teach key phonics patterns like digraphs, silent e, and more.
Can a child play this alone?
Yes. Kids can play independently once they understand the rules, making it great for daily practice.
How many players can join?
1–4 players. Works well for solo play, parent-child play, or small groups.
